WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC+
The Cook Islands Government have announced that the following changes regarding travel entry requirements are planned to take place:
- From 6th September 2022, COVID-19 vaccination requirements have been removed and no longer apply for travel and entry to the Cook Islands by Aircraft and Sea vessel.
- Pre-departure testing for international arrivals into the Cook Islands no longer required from May 1

- Residents: Follow TMO public notices or call your Public Health Clinic to find out where you can get tested.
- Visitors: Make contact with the COVID-19 Health and Safety officer for your accommodation.
- For any COVID-19 related matters, please contact 56180 or 57486. These numbers will be answered 24/7.
TESTING & ISOLATING+
- As of July 1, all pre-departure testing for the Pa Enua will no longer be required.
- All daily RAT tests conducted at each location/organisation must be recorded using the RAT Testing Summary Form
- All positive cases that are identified daily must be recorded using the RAT Test Positive Case Form.
INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL+
- To be eligible to travel, all future visitors must meet specific requirements. For more information visit: Travel & Border Controls
- All International pre-departure RAT or PCR testing requirements for entry into Rarotonga removed as of May 1

DOMESTIC TRAVEL+
- COVID-19 testing and vaccination requirements have been removed for all domestic travellers to the following islands; Aitutaki, Atiu, Mitiaro, Mauke, Mangaia, Pukapuka, Manihiki, Rakahanga, and Penrhyn.

Vaccine Doses
You will need to get 2 separate vaccine doses for the best protection. A 3rd booster shot is also recommended.
Coughing and Sneezing
Cover coughs and sneezes with your arm.
Proof of Vaccination
Carry your Vaccination Certificate with you.
Self Quarantine
Stay home if you have a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or sore throat.
Cooperate with Authorities
Please adhere to public health measures and messages.
